Elizabeth Gillies is an American actress singer and songwriter. She is most well-known for the role of Lucy in the musical 13 and Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. Her career began in commercials. Her first television appearance was on The Black Donnellys (2007). In the Nickelodeon show Victorious, she appeared as Jade West between 2010 and 2013. The role was her main one for the FX comedy show Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015-16). Elizabeth Egan Gillies' family is located in New Jersey, where Gillies was raised. She was awarded the Spotlight Award by the Hollywood Film Festival in 2011, for her performance as the leading role in Super 8. In 2011, she played the lead character in comedy films We Bought a Zoo (2012) and Ginger & Rosa (2013). In 2014 and in 2019, she portrayed the princess Aurora part in Maleficent.
