Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress, best known for her starring roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Hain Koun..! She started her career in the early 1980s and was introduced to prominence with her performance in the Tezaab film, where she played alongside famous actor Anil Kapoor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. She was born into the Mumbai middle class family. She started dancing at an early age. When she was a teenager she started acting, and struggled for years since the majority of her films at first were unsuccessful. She finally found success, and she went on to become one of the best-known actresses in the Indian film business. She took a break from acting following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her contribution to the social sector is well-known.
