Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. When she was just five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled at her first Dragon School. Emma's ambition was to become an actor. As a young girl of 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch, where she took classes in acting, singing as well as dancing. When she was 10 years old, Emma took part in many Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by agents via their Oxford teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were cast as the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's film debut came with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). The film beat all previous records in terms of the opening weekend and revenues, and was the top-grossing 2001 film. Reviewers praised the film and particularly those who were young. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British paper, praised her for her outstanding performance. Emma received five nominations for her exceptional performance.
